Promotion Program
On the vessels manned by Rusam Maritime we have implemented the system of promotion of maritime specialists. For more than 10 years hundreds of our Seafarers have been promoted and more than 50% of them received promotion onboard.
We have a number of Senior Officers who started their carrier with us in positions of Deck & Engine Ratings.
Seafarers' Health
We pay attention to the seamen’s health. Before every voyage seamen passing a medical examination (PEME: Pre-Employment Medical Examination) on company’s medical forms and in approved clinics. Cost of medical examination are compensate by the Shipowner.
Our Training System
We are paying special attention to quality of training of our Seafarers and constantly doing best to meet the highest standards and requirements in this respect.
Training system including such courses as follows:
- English language courses
- Familiarization with Shipowner’s SMS (Safety Management System)
- Familiarization with Shipowner’s PMS (Planning Maintenance System)
- Pre-Voyage Briefing
- Technical / Safety Seminars (for Officers & Ratings)
- “Ebola, Malaria, Yellow Fever: precautionary measures” (including special testing) //СOVID-19.
- Special additional training for Ship’s Cooks (accordingly to MLC 2006)
- Other internal training courses according to requirements & instructions of Shipowner
Partnership Program
The Rusam Collaboration (RC) project was prepared for seamen exclusively. Affiliate card holders will get unique discounts in various areas from recreation and entertainment to car dealers.
